Engine Block Leak Test Machine
Previous line was running (2) variants of FWD V6 blocks. Stations were upgraded to run (3) variants of FWD & RWD blocks for total of (6) variants. New design and building included the following:
- Part ID was added to station
- New slide for front face seal variants, cross-slide for seals dependant on part type
- Conversion from pressure decay to mass air flow leak test included complete custom leak test panel to latest specifications
- Upgrade to latest controls and integrate into existing line
- New master part stands
- Reduction to overall cycle time inclusive of new motions
